August 10, 2020 Ailingforale 0 Comments Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Indie, Nintendo Switch, PC, RPG, STEAM, The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines, The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, tinyDino Games, Twin-Stick Shooter, Xbox One

There is a fair bit of use to the time-stopping ability that stops it from feeling like a gimmick and I’m happy to see they struck that note just right.

“… wherever you are, whoever’s face your blade meets, it’s still a joy to kill all of the things and that fact helps me gloss over a lot of the issues I have with the game.”

(Review) Swag & Sorcery

May 16, 2019 Ailingforale 0 Comments Adventure, Lazy Bear Games, Pixel Graphics, RPG, Sim, STEAM, Swag & Sorcery, tinyBuild, Uroboros Games

Swag & Sorcery appeared to be everything I’ve wanted out of a management/RPG sim, but ends up working like any other number of grindy phone apps that I’ve begrudgingly deleted after a few days.

-While patching my first game Mazungeon, I broke it so it’s off the Play store. You can see on the site what it was like when it worked. You can also play a previous version here.

-Thank you to all developers and PR people who make this wild ride possible. It is a pleasure!
