The Road To Pax Prime 2013

So registration is finished for my Pax media pass.  It’s all up in the air now about whether they’ll let me come over and play again.  Last year I went with a different website known as GodHeadGaming and now I’m riding solo (for now, guest author incoming!).  Will they let me in?  Is my website website-ie enough?  Do I haz what it takes?  Well… we’ll know when they get back to me.

For now, let’s go back and look at some photos of some of the groovy people I met last time I was there.

Here is an awesome photo of Tim & Holly Keenan.

Yeh, these are the two behind A Virus Named Tom and the up and coming “Chess the Gathering” as they call it (videos found here).  These two were very welcoming and totally helped me get my first give away off the ground.  I can’t thank them enough.  Keep up the good work guys, you rock!

I’m still waiting for more registered users (3) or more Facebook likes (5) till the next give away.

Me and Kevin Knocke.

As much as I loved him as a Star Craft caster, I guess him being a “Manager of Online Broadcasting for Blizzard Entertainment” is a decent step up.  I still miss Kevin… He’s just as chill as he seems on video!

It was nice of them to stop for a second to pose for a picture.  Geoff and Bryce seemed pretty chill in real life as they do on their streams and Greg, well maybe he was just having a bad day because despite his “notoriety for poor etiquette” his EG buddies say he’s a pretty cool guy.  Best of luck to you guys and to IdrA finding a new team quickly if he in fact wants one.

Some guys from NICALiS.

So left to right is a very nice guy named Jerry who I honestly don’t remember what he’s done perse, but still a great guy. Then there Samu Wosada who is supposedly working on 1001 Spikes (at Pax ’12 it was 1001 Lives), but where is it?  Isn’t it done yet because I want it!  He sat there and laughed at me as I died in his game.  He didn’t really speak English, but I’m sure if he did, we’d get along well.  Then there’s Tyrone Rodriguez who was also rather chill.  There there is Pixxel.  Not to be confused with Pixxel from the Frag Dolls (met her playing Zombie U, very cool).  These are the guys that brought you Cave Story and VVVVVV with Nicalis.  I also remember a game called Yatagarasu that they let me play and I’ve not heard a date of it coming to my 3DS eShop yet still.   You guys have some work to do!

So Pax was awesome last year.  This year will probably be just as awesome.  So keep your fingers crossed for me ladies and gents!  This year I’ll be posting for TVGBL and that would help make me feel all official like.

Love it or hate it, let me know!
