PAX Prime 2014: Catlateral Damage

A cat, a rack, a plan: Catlateral Damage. The number of games in which we can be a house cat are depressingly few, but at least this one gets it right in broad strokes. You have a set time to knock as many objects off of shelves, desks, etc. onto the floor. There’s even combos, if you can figure out the trick to it. Although I am sad that, in being the cat, I cannot see the cat, and cats are cute enough to always warrant being seen. I am consoled by the fact that I the cat sat at PAX and cracked a pack of knick-knacks so fast that that dev that watched me crack that pack of knick-knacks sat back and … ::deep breath:: … apologized for not having more levels.

What this game needs is multiplayer. Multiplayer, and an escaped canary. That is all.

    DVD COMBO!

Finally, another game I can get behind (1st or 3rd person). I’m not quite yet role playing as a crazy tongued goat, but this looks fun. As I watched the video, it took me to many a “bad cat” video from reddit. Now I can join in the feline fun.

I scoffed at the idea of this game, but then watched the whole video and I’ll admit that this does look a lot more fun than when it’s just described to me.

Seriously, with 4-way multiplayer this could be a great party game.

Oh, and a parrot. Because parrots can talk when your kitty starts getting fresh with it. 🙂

They could add some form of ghost-esque floating vacuum to chase around as the bad guy if they needed one!
