The Not So Great Deus Ex Debate

I honestly was going to pick up Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut for the Wii U to support third-party games on the Wii U.  Goodness knows that the Wii U is lacking some bigger hit third-party titles.  They are getting some, but more is always better.

However, then I came across this:

Yeh... that's pretty tough to beat.
Yeh… that’s pretty tough to beat.

So while I played this at Pax and thought that I would actually try my hand at dual joysticks for a console (which is something I really try to stay away from) and it wasn’t that bad, this just isn’t fair.  They want to charge about $49.99 for console versions of this.  I get it though for the consoles, it makes sense.  With the Gamepad integration (which was pretty fun and felt useful without being gimmicky) I think it’s a fair price.  Since I own it already with Steam, they are giving me a discount as you can see above.

If you give me the option, however, to drop $50 or $10 with preferred controls, that’s just a no-brainer.  Sorry Wii U, but it looks like you’ll continue to be my Monster Hunter buddy.
