Bungie’s Destiny (Not Halo 4)

Just thought I’d throw this out there.  There is a new game coming out from the makers of Halo, but this time it’s a more open world shooter (not an mmo) with (supposed) sandboxy elements and events that they (Bungie) don’t “control”.

It looks pretty cool, and if they can deliver what they are dreaming up (which I think they can) then this is going to be pretty cool.  I may actually buy a shooter for my PS3…

Bungie is owned by Microsoft. I doubt it will be available on PS3. PC would be more likely. If it’s out for PC I will check it out – after I get a computer.

I’m getting it on the next xbox. Considering both new consoles are coming out this year and the game is coming out next year.

I’m not sure it’s going to be out for the PS4 man… unless they remake it or course correct right now, which I kind of doubt.

Maybe there will be an upgraded or some sort of expansion for the other systems down the line since they say they want this game to span ten years. That is unless I’m understanding the video incorrectly…

They already announced it’s not coming out this year. Why would they make it for this generation consoles only, if the next gen consoles are releasing this year?

Edit: They technically didn’t say it’s not coming out this year. But Bungie Activision recently announced that it does not expect anything from Bungie in its 2013 fiscal guidance to investors.

Dang, that’s cool. I saw Activision (not Microsoft) at the end of the video but Halo is the only game from Bungie I know so I figured it would still be an Xbox/PC exclusive.

Either way, it’s good news for those that don’t have a bro-box.
