PAX Prime 2015: République
I’m such a fan of stealth in games when it’s done right. You know, even if it’s kind of lame, at times, I can usually find some form of enjoyment out of it. There is something about getting in touch with my inner ninja and being all that I can be by being the shadow that takes everyone out. I’m not really all about killing people, but the silent, not letting anyone know I was there in the first place is what I love.
République is a little different from the norm because you don’t always control the character that you can see. You are not even that person. You are the person behind the camera hacking doors and letting the main character know where to go. It’s a sweet approach and I enjoyed the little I got to play at PAX. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this gem. I love a good stealth challenge and République seems to be calling my name.
