PAX Prime 2015: Kill Strain

I haven’t seen too many three-team-based games in the forms of the MOBA-esque genre and especially on a console. Kill Strain is going to fill that void in spades. (Man… if only I had a PS4.) It’s a humans vs. humans vs. mutant all-out brawl fest. It’s not even really too team based and more score based.

Let me see if I can clarify a little better. Yes you have teams, but that composition can change when you die. If you get killed either by or near a mutant and that mutant drags you back to the strain area, you can be turned into a mutant yourself. Then the mutant team gets even more crazy. So eventually you see how the tides can turn against the humans right? The neat thing is that there are multiple ways to win so it’s OK if the teams get all wonky. I’d be totally stoked to play this game again, but alas, Kill Strain does not come with a free PS4 and so I’m at a loss.
